Children need annual eye examinations! At Bayview Optometrics, we recommend that all children see their Optometrists every year starting from the age of 5 years old unless other concerns arise. The school and pediatric eye screenings are good at detecting major problems but some things are missed. An eye care doctor has the equipment and expertise in properly diagnosing the many varieties of vision concerns.
